Getting started

How do I sign up?
Click Start free and fill in a short form. Your salon is live in under two minutes.
Do I need a credit card to try it?
No. We don't ask for payment details at signup.
How long does setup take?
Most salons are taking bookings within 10 minutes — add services, workers, set schedules, share the link.
Can I import an existing client list?
Not yet — this is on the Pro roadmap. In the meantime, clients self-register as they book through your link.
Does it work on mobile?
Yes. The admin dashboard and public booking page are both fully mobile-friendly.

WhatsApp

How do I set up WhatsApp?
You need a Meta Business account with a verified phone number and access to the Meta Cloud API. We provide a step-by-step guide inside the admin dashboard.
Is WhatsApp required?
No. The web booking link works independently. Many salons start with web only and add WhatsApp later.
Does Meta charge for WhatsApp messages?
Meta charges per conversation for business-initiated messages in most countries. Customer-initiated conversations are typically free within a 24-hour window. See Meta's current pricing for your region.
Can I use my existing WhatsApp number?
Only if it is not already used with personal WhatsApp. The Meta Cloud API requires a dedicated business number.
How long does WhatsApp approval take?
Meta typically approves business accounts within 1-3 business days once you submit verification documents.

Pricing

Is it really free right now?
Yes. We are in early access — we haven't launched paid plans yet. The entire product is free.
When and how will you start charging?
We don't have a date or a price yet. We are focused on getting the product right with our first salons. When paid plans arrive, you'll get 30 days notice.
If I sign up now, do I get to keep it free?
That's our intent. Early salons shouldn't be punished for backing us early. When Pro launches, we'll offer a path that respects existing customers.
What will Pro cost?
Undecided. We'll listen to our first salons before we settle on numbers.

Features

Can my customers book without signing up?
Yes. Customers just visit your booking link — no account required on their side.
Can I accept payments through SalonBooking?
Not yet. Payment processing is on the Pro roadmap.
Does it send reminders automatically?
Yes. A WhatsApp reminder is sent about 60 minutes before each appointment.
Can clients reschedule or cancel themselves?
Yes. Every booking confirmation includes a secure manage link for self-service changes.
Does it handle different service durations?
Yes. Each service has its own duration and optional buffer time.

Security

Is my customer data secure?
Yes. Sensitive tokens are encrypted at rest, webhooks are signature-verified, and each salon has its own isolated database.
What happens to my data if I cancel?
You can export your data before cancellation. We delete tenant data 30 days after account closure.
Are you GDPR compliant?
We follow GDPR principles: minimal data collection, user-controlled deletion, transparent processing. A DPA is available on request for EU customers.

Technical

Can I use my own domain?
Custom domains are on the Pro roadmap. For now, every salon gets a branded subdomain.
Do you support multi-location salons?
Multi-worker scheduling works for single locations today. True multi-location (separate calendars per branch) is a Pro feature in progress.
Which currencies do you support?
You can display prices in any currency — it's a text field, not tied to payment processing.
